Partnerships

Poho Flowers is a relationship-driven and community-minded organisation. We strive to partner with charities and organisations that seek long-term mutually beneficial relationships. We strongly believe in giving back to the community and environment that has supported and watched us grow over more than 10 years.

POHO X Australian Wildlife Conservancy

Poho is passionate about community, celebrating local artists, creators and doing everything we can to give back to the natural world that we rely so heavily on for our work. We came across The Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC) just over a year ago after a long search for a charity/organisation for Poho to partner with. The work of AWC really stood out to us, they are the largest private land owner and manager of land for conservation in Australia with a mission to protect endangered wildlife and their habitat and rehabilitate wilderness right across the country. They work hand in hand with indigenous groups, governments and landholders across 30 properties.

With almost 80 per cent of AWC staff based at their sanctuaries around the country, more than 85 per cent of operational expenditure is incurred on conservation where it makes the greatest difference to Australia’s native species – in the field. Poho makes regularly quarterly donations to AWC to assist in their important work and we have also designed a tote bag which we retail through our Potts Point store and online, with all proceeds from its sale going direct to AWC. This is a partnership we are incredible proud of and one we can’t wait to develop into the future.

POHO X Carbon Neutral

We are very proud to announce that we have gone carbon neutral!

Over the past year we have partnered with Carbon Neutral Australia to measure our carbon footprint. Through reviews and reporting, we have calculated our greenhouse gas emissions and have worked to reduce and offset our carbon footprint.

We chose to support the biodiverse reforestation carbon offsets in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor located in Southwestern Australia. The area comprises 13,500 hectares of rural landscape and has been identified as one of 35 global biodiversity hotspots for wildlife and plants, and the first to be identified in Australia!

To date, Carbon Neutral Australia has helped plant 30 million mixed native species trees and shrubs and we couldn't be prouder to contribute to this great organisation and its initiatives.

Poho is committed to being an industry leader in environmental best practice and we are proud to have achieved this milestone with your support. We can’t wait to share our future developments with you, thank you for your continued support and loyalty.
